Un Coup de Cœur

It was love at first sight – not a single doubt about it. She floated ever so elegantly in the gentle breeze of the air conditioning fan. Think of Marilyn Monroe’s dress in The Seven Year Itch, kind of like that. Perhaps not quite as dramatic, but you get the idea. Okay, enough romanticising. Although not quite as iconic as Monroe’s cocktail dress, this Mango satin dress instantly won me over. On the hunt for a dress to wear in Paris one weekend, I scoured all that Orléans had to offer – which isn’t a lot really when you rule out the trendy haute couture shops. Luckily enough, I came across this chic little number. Emblematic of the Kooples’ preppy Parisian look, this dress is an asset to any fashion-lover’s wardrobe. The glossy satin material is complemented beautifully by intricate black lace, making it the perfect date-night attire. And the best part? It’s flowy and fastens with an invisible side-zip, so you can eat all the carbs you like (without having to worry about appearing six months pregnant). Rocker grunge

Pair with an oversized aviator jacket and buckled black boots to channel your inner rock chick. To be even more boujee, layer on the jewellery and wing that liner!

Casual but cute

Meeting a friend for lunch but bored of wearing jeans and a nice top? Why not layer up and wear a jumper over a dress? It’s effortlessly stylish and a good way to make the most of your wardrobe. Students, take note!

Hipster luxe

Pair your long line overcoat with this over-the-knee dress and white trainers to achieve that minimal look. So basic but so chic, especially if you go for a bold red lip. Nothing says glamour quite like red lipstick!
